COMPETE

Everyday we have the opportunity to practice, get better, win the day, and in doing so learn the art of how to COMPETE on race day.

When you show up to compete, you...

  • Focus on the process, the little things required to improve

  • Control your controllable, put your effort where it has impact

  • Maintain a calm, looking for ways to “relax to win”

  • Stay engaged; persist and look for ways to master the moment

  • Give your best effort (which has nothing to do with place or pace)

Back of the pack, front of the pack or elite, everyone is a competitor - with the course, other athletes, with themselves.

Train your ability to compete. And when the gun goes off - charge into your race with a spirit to show up, persevere, and thrive.
