11th Annual Pay it Forward Contest!

For the 11th year in a row, I am happy to offer my Annual Pay it Forward contest for an athlete to receive free coaching for a year.

Working with these Pay it Forward athletes each year is one of my biggest highlights as a coach.

Applications are accepted starting Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26th, 2020 through December 15th, 2020 at 11:59 PM CST.

Thanks to my past Pay it Forward athletes: Dan Malinski, Cathy Bonich, Jeff Vanis, Alisa Dunlap, Nick Gehl, Nicole H, Kristin Belger, Heather Glynn, Courtney Javorski, Melissa Milligan, Kendra Krueger and Terry Gross.

**Also for 2021–>  If we get a large number of applicants, we will extend the Pay it Forward winners to include other coaches on the MSM + JHC team other than myself.

If you are interested, I encourage you to apply. Here are the details:

1.) Applicants can apply via email to: jhctricoach@gmail.com starting Thanksgiving Day, 2020. Feel free to be as creative as you want in the email application.  I do take bribes #M&Ms.

2.) For the Pay it Forward Athlete, I am looking for athletes that have overcome any type of hardship – This can include, but not limited to: illnesses, financial, personal, professional, behavioral health issues etc…This is also open to athletes who may not have any hardships but just have not been able to put together a solid year (s) of training due to inconsistency, lack of motivation, lack of focus/structure and need something new and challenging.

3.) You CAN re-apply if you applied before!  I encourage it!  Jeff applied three times and was finally picked in 2015.

4.) You need to have at least one “A” race in 2021. All levels of athletes are welcome!

5.) The coaching will start in January 1, 2021 and last until the end of your “A” race or 12/31/21, whichever one is first.

6.) You need to be active on social media (Facebook and/or IG).

7.)  You do NOT need to be local — can live anywhere in the world!
